Hidden Logic Studio operates a creator-controlled workflow for preparing original visual explainers and sending approved videos to TikTok as drafts. This policy explains how that workflow handles information when TikTok Login Kit and the TikTok Content Posting API are used.
Only after a creator authorizes the app, the workflow may receive the TikTok account identifier (open ID), display name, avatar information, and an access token necessary to place a video draft in that creator’s TikTok account. It may also process video files, captions, titles, hashtags, thumbnail choices, publishing status, and technical upload records for content the creator explicitly chooses to send.
Information is used solely to identify the authorized creator, validate upload eligibility, transfer an approved video as a TikTok draft, show upload status, and prevent duplicate uploads. The workflow does not use TikTok account information for advertising, profiling, sale, rental, or unrelated analytics.
The workflow is configured for draft upload only. A creator reviews, edits, and posts the draft inside TikTok. We do not automatically publish content, change a post’s visibility, send direct messages, or access passwords, two-factor codes, cookies, or browser sessions.
Information is shared only with TikTok as necessary to complete the creator-requested draft upload. We do not sell or share personal information with advertising networks or unrelated third parties.
Access tokens and integration configuration are stored outside source code in owner-only protected storage. Logs are designed to redact credentials. Technical upload records are retained only for operational integrity, reconciliation, and duplicate prevention. A creator may revoke access through TikTok’s connected-app settings; revocation stops further API access.
This workflow is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone below the minimum age required to use TikTok in their region.
